…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect LiveKit Real-Time Rooms MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect LiveKit Real-Time Rooms to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Initialize LiveKit Real-Time Rooms from Code
Need to simulate a session for testing? Use `create_room` in your agent mode. This tool generates the access tokens necessary, allowing you to build code that assumes live participants can join based on those credentials. You'll get clean, actionable results directly into your file.
Control Session State and Participants
Your agent needs to verify who is in the room? Call `list_participants` or `get_participant` to pull live data structures. If a user leaves, you can write code that calls `remove_participant`, which correctly simulates token revocation for testing purposes.
Broadcast Live Data into Working Code
Use `send_data` in your agent to broadcast test messages—specify 'reliable' or 'lossy'—and have that data appear as a variable assignment in the code you’re writing. This lets you build real-world logic without needing mock stubs.
