Connect Twelve Data MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Twelve Data to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Implementing Technical Indicators in Code
You can write functions that calculate indicators using historical data. For example, you'll get the raw OHLCV data via `get_time_series`, and then your code uses that to compute an SMA or check the values of `get_rsi` against thresholds. This lets you build robust components. You can write a test that checks: 'If RSI is above 70, flag it as overbought,' right inside your development environment.
Real-Time Quote Monitoring and Scripting
Need to monitor multiple symbols? Cline lets you build scripts that call `get_quote` for several instruments in a loop. The agent handles the data fetching, so your component doesn't break when dealing with live market feeds. It’s perfect for dashboards: write a function that grabs real-time prices and displays them in a structured table output.
Cross-Market Data Validation and Conversion
Before running complex logic, you need to validate your inputs. You can use `get_stock_list` or check for available crypto pairs using `get_crypto_list`. The agent writes the code to iterate over these lists. Plus, if you're dealing with international data, the tool lets you convert currencies (`convert_currency`) and fetch live exchange rates (`get_exchange_rate`) right in your script.
