Auto-Generate Content Prompts
The `get_quotes` tool pulls quotes from the Type.fit database. You set a goal—like generating three social media posts—and Windsurf's Cascade agent automatically figures out that it needs to run this tool first, injecting fresh motivation into your copy. It handles the entire sequence without you writing multiple steps. Just tell Cascade what you want, and it sources inspiration from `get_quotes`, then drafts the content for you.
Contextualizing Drafts
Need to make sure your documentation sounds less boring? Start by calling `get_quotes`. Windsurf reads the context of your project and plans how a good quote could be naturally inserted. It doesn't just dump text; it figures out where that inspirational line fits best in your current file. This is perfect for writing internal guides or READMEs. Cascade takes your objective, calls `get_quotes` to get the material, and rewrites the surrounding text so everything flows like a single piece.
Multi-Step Creative Workflow
Imagine building a landing page. You ask Windsurf to draft the copy, but you want it punchy. The agent uses `get_quotes` as its first step in planning. It grabs several quotes and then structures them into short headline options. It’s not just fetching data; it's chaining actions. Cascade takes your prompt—say, 'Write a compelling hero section'—and executes the necessary steps using `get_quotes`, all without you needing to manually connect the dots.
