Connect UpCloud MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect UpCloud to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
System Lifecycle Management
Managing your cloud stack is simple. Use `list_servers` to see every server you own, then call `get_server` for detailed specs. If a machine is down, run `start_server`. Need it off? Call `stop_server`. If the config needs tweaking, use `update_server` to modify its settings directly from your Copilot chat.
Storage and Data Management
The server handles storage with multiple tools. Start by running `list_storages` to see available buckets. To save a copy, use `backup_storage`, then restore it later with `restore_storage`. Developers also use `create_object_storage` to spin up new services and `import_storage` to populate them.
Network Architecture Setup
Building connectivity is handled by specific tools. Run `list_networks` to view existing SDN private networks. Then, you can deploy a brand new one using `create_network`. For IP management, use `list_ips` and then grab an address with `assign_ip`. This ensures your services have unique IPs.
