Autonomous Event Creation and Scheduling

Assign an 'Event Planner' role to manage bookings. This agent uses `list_events` to see what's already scheduled, then decides when and how to call `create_event`. It executes the full planning cycle without human input. A second 'Coordinator' agent can then use `get_event_details` to pull specific venue requirements needed for the new booking.

Speaker Registration and Management Pipeline

You can give an 'Onboarding Agent' the task of managing talent. This agent uses `list_speakers` to check the current roster, then calls `create_speaker` when a new person needs to be added. The system maintains shared memory, so the next agent knows exactly who was just registered and can use that name in further actions.

Post-Event Review and Reporting

Set up an 'Analyst Agent' whose sole job is to review performance. It first pulls all metadata using `list_recordings` and then uses `get_event_analytics` to quantify the event's success. The autonomous crew handles this sequence: retrieve recordings, analyze engagement, and compile a final report.

Setup guide

Set up Venue MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke Venue tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="Venue Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze Venue data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct Venue access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent Venue transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)

Common questions about Venue MCP in CrewAI

The 'Event Planner' agent uses the `list_events` tool. Since it runs in a crew, it can automatically check multiple time slots and report back on all available options based on your parameters.
A specialized 'Detail Agent' handles this. It uses `get_event_details` to pull data, then passes that structured information to the shared memory for other agents (like the analytics agent) to consume.
Yes. The 'Speaker Manager' runs a sequence: first, it calls `list_speakers`. Next, if needed, it uses `get_me` to check the account owner's role before proceeding.
Absolutely. You can design a workflow where one agent pulls attendee records via `list_event_registrations`, and another uses `list_sessions` to cross-reference who attended which specific session.
This server touches analytics data, recordings metadata, and attendee lists. The autonomous agents must be configured with strict access controls to protect this information.
