Connect VTEX Catalog MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect VTEX Catalog to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automating Product Creation/Updates
You can write a script to process data and then use `save_product` to create or update listings in the VTEX Catalog. The agent handles the boilerplate, making your code cleaner. Need to adjust stock across fifty items? Write a loop that calls `manage_stock` for each SKU, handling failure states automatically.
Building Search and Reporting Tools
Use `search_products` data as input for your dashboard component. Fetching records is simple: call the search tool with text or a structured ID (`b/ID`). Once you have the list, pipe it through other scripts to build reports on category performance using data from `get_category`.
Deep Catalog Data Retrieval
Stop writing repetitive getters. A single function can wrap `get_product`, `get_sku`, and `get_brand`. This gives you a solid foundation for retrieving all needed attributes. If your script needs to map out the hierarchy, use `get_category` and then cross-reference that data with specific product details.
