Connect VTEX Catalog MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect VTEX Catalog to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Product Data Lifecycle
Need to update a product? Start with `get_product` to pull existing details. Then, your agent can use `save_product`—whether you're creating it or modifying prices and descriptions. This process works even if you only know the SKU. Just run `get_sku` first; that gives your agent enough context to build a complete record using `save_product`.
Search and Inventory Checks
Find items quickly with `search_products`. You can narrow the search by text, brand (`b/ID`), or category (`c/ID`). Once you find it, use `get_product` to confirm all details. If something is out of stock, run `manage_stock` immediately. This lets your agent adjust inventory counts right after checking availability.
Catalog Structure Exploration
Map out your entire store structure without leaving the IDE. Use `get_brand` to list all available brands, or `get_category` to see how a specific group is set up. These tools give your agent the necessary context to understand relationships—for instance, knowing which categories belong under which brand.
