Create your Vinkius account to connect VTEX Catalog to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Injecting product context into your code.
The `get_product(id)` tool allows the AI to fetch full listing details and inject that live JSON response directly into the function you're writing. You don't get mock data; you get real catalog information for immediate coding context. Need a specific piece of metadata? Use `get_brand()` or `get_category()` within your code block, and the agent handles calling the tool and feeding the result back into your function signature.
Updating inventory through live API calls.
You can write logic to handle stock management. The `manage_stock` tool lets the AI update a SKU's available quantity, generating working code that executes the necessary API call and handles the response. Want to create a new product record? Use `save_product()` in your script. This moves beyond simple data retrieval; it builds write operations right into your developer workflow.
Searching listings for code context.
If you're writing a search utility, the agent uses `search_products` to pull results by text, brand ID, or category ID. This live data populates variables in your current file. It’s useful when developing e-commerce tooling; instead of hardcoding IDs, your code pulls them from the catalog via the MCP Server.
