Run Automated Compliance Checks

Schedule daily checks for access control. Use `list_ip_acl_rules` to output the current IP allowlist and denylist into a log file, perfect for compliance reports. You can also use `get_client_info` to programmatically check your subscription status before running sensitive commands. This makes auditing repeatable and reliable.

Automate Vulnerability Triage

In a CI/CD pipeline, you need fast triage. Use `search_vulnerabilities` to get a list of open findings. Then, pipe that data through the `update_vulnerability_status` tool to automatically mark known false positives as such, updating your source-of-truth database. It's non-interactive, scriptable security management.

Forensic Incident Logging

When an incident happens, you need proof. Use `search_security_hits` to grab the full request headers and payloads for blocked traffic directly into a JSON file. You can also run `search_security_attacks` to get aggregated attack vectors (SQLi, XSS) for executive summaries. This is raw, actionable data for post-mortem analysis.

Common questions about Wallarm MCP in Claude Code

You can script a job using `list_ip_acl_rules` to dump all current IP allowlist and denylist rules into an artifact. This proves your network configuration meets standards without manual intervention.
The server manages the lifecycle status of vulnerabilities, which are identified by specific vulnerability IDs. You can programmatically change this status (open, closed, falsepositive) via script.
You get detailed JSON logs from `search_security_hits`, which contain the full request headers and payloads for every malicious HTTP hit intercepted by your WAF nodes.
Yes. Running `get_client_info` retrieves details on your account, subscription level, and feature access status, allowing scripts to validate prerequisites before running heavy tasks.
The server tracks attack vectors (like SQLi or XSS) through the `search_security_attacks` tool, providing aggregated counts and details about the type of malicious activity detected.
