Build Security Components

Cline lets you build reporting dashboards directly from security findings. You can fetch open vulnerabilities using `search_vulnerabilities` and write the component to display them immediately. This means your audit report is always tied to live data. After fetching the list, you can even stage a commit with the relevant API data included.

Script Network Audits

This makes compliance enforcement part of your development workflow. You're not just viewing data; you're creating and testing infrastructure-as-code.

Map API Endpoints Automatically

Don't waste time mapping APIs manually. Cline runs `get_discovered_api_inventory` to automatically find every endpoint used in live traffic, dumping the results into a file. You can then use this data source to write unit tests. It also lists all physical nodes with `list_filtering_nodes`, ensuring your code knows where it's running.

Common questions about Wallarm MCP in Cline

Cline uses the `get_discovered_api_inventory` tool to automatically map all APIs by analyzing passive traffic. You get a complete, up-to-date inventory that you can immediately use in your code.
You can run `search_vulnerabilities` to list the findings. Then, using `update_vulnerability_status`, you write a small script that changes the status in source control—marking it as false positive or resolved.
Absolutely. You can query `list_ip_acl_rules` to get current rules, and then use the data in your script to call `create_ip_acl_rule`, generating infrastructure-as-code changes you can test locally.
You can search for attacks grouped by vector using `search_security_attacks`. This data is critical for writing accurate tests that simulate real-world threats like XSS or SQLi.
This server handles IP address and CIDR ranges. The relevant data type is the structured list of allowed and denied source/destination IP addresses used by the WAF.
