List objects inside any Wasabi bucket.

When you need to know what files exist, call `list_bucket_objects`. The tool returns file keys, their sizes, and the last modified dates. This gives your code real context for iteration. If a multipart upload failed, don't panic. Use `list_pending_multipart_uploads` to see all incomplete uploads and figure out what needs fixing.

Set up storage buckets via MCP Server.

To create a new container, use the `create_storage_bucket` tool. You'll need to provide a globally unique lower-kebab-case name for it. Need to know what containers you already have? Run `list_storage_buckets` and you get all visible Wasabi storage buckets.

Manage object versioning status.

Check if a bucket tracks changes using `get_bucket_versioning_status`. This function tells your agent whether or not versioning is active for that specific container. If you want to start tracking versions, call `enable_bucket_versioning` on the bucket.

Setup guide

Set up Wasabi MCP in Cursor

Prerequisites

  • Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Open MCP Settings

Go to Cursor Settings → MCP or open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "MCP: Add Server".

  2. 2

    Add the Wasabi MCP

Cursor will create or open .cursor/mcp.json in your project root. Paste the JSON snippet on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Enable Agent mode

Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

  4. 4

    Verify the connection

Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Wasabi transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Wasabi tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.

Common questions about Wasabi MCP in Cursor

You use `get_object_access_control` to retrieve the Access Control List (ACL) for a specific file. This is crucial for ensuring your code only tries to read what it should.
The `list_storage_buckets` tool gives you a list of all the Wasabi storage buckets visible to your account. You get names, nothing more.
Be careful: `delete_bucket_object` permanently removes the file. It's irreversible, so make sure your agent only runs this when you are certain.
Yes, `list_bucket_objects` lets you retrieve the file keys, sizes, and last modified dates stored within a bucket. This context is perfect for writing code.
This MCP Server deals with object metadata: keys, sizes, ACLs, and versioning status of the cloud storage objects.
