How to Use the Wasabi MCP in Windsurf
Manage cloud storage and data residency via Windsurf's autonomous agent.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Wasabi MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wasabi to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Establish and Govern Storage Buckets
You can create new, high-availability buckets using `create_storage_bucket`. It mandates a globally unique lower-kebab-case name for every bucket you launch. Cascade also handles the governance side. Check if versioning is active with `get_bucket_versioning_status`, or activate it entirely using `enable_bucket_versioning` to keep historical copies of your data.
Audit and Track Cloud Object Lifecycles
Need to see what's in a bucket? Run `list_bucket_objects` to pull file keys, sizes, and the last modified date for every object. You can also run `list_storage_buckets` to get a full manifest of all buckets visible to your account. If you suspect data changes or need to know who can access something, use `get_object_access_control` to pull the specific ACL for any file.
Perform Complex Object Manipulation
The agent executes object deletion automatically. You run `delete_bucket_object` when you need to permanently wipe a single file, or if the bucket is empty, `delete_storage_bucket` removes the container itself. It also helps track background uploads by listing incomplete multipart transfers via `list_pending_multipart_uploads`. This keeps your data pipeline clean and accounted for.
