Connect Weatherbit MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Weatherbit to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Automate Environmental Data Gathering
Cascade handles the complexity of environmental checks. You just set a goal—like 'check air quality in Downtown.' It runs `get_air_quality` and gives you the AQI score, PM2.5, and health recommendations instantly. It even knows to check for severe conditions if they exist nearby. Running `get_weather_alerts` alongside the air quality report means your whole environment is covered in one go.
Build Multi-Step Weather Forecasts
Need a full picture of next week's weather? Windsurf can chain these calls. First, it pulls the big picture using `get_forecast_daily_by_city` for up to 16 days. Then, if you need more detail for tomorrow, it pivots and runs `get_forecast_hourly_by_city`. This means your agent handles both high-level planning and granular execution without you having to prompt each step.
Deep Dive into Historical Records
Don't just look at today’s temperature. You can ask for historical trends, letting Cascade call `get_historical_weather`. This tool returns metrics like wind speed and precipitation for dates stretching back 30 years. It lets you compare current conditions against decades of data simply by specifying coordinates.
