Connect Webiny CMS MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Webiny CMS to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
End-to-end Content Deployment with MCP Server
Tired of manual API calls? You can use `update_cms_entry` to modify a content model entry's fields, then write a component that reads the result. Cline handles this whole loop: it executes the update via the MCP Server, gets the new data, and immediately uses it to populate the required frontend state for your dashboard. It writes the necessary code to handle both the API interaction and the front-end display logic, leaving you with a fully functional component ready for testing.
Executing Raw Queries against Webiny CMS
Need data that doesn't map cleanly to existing fields? Call `execute_graphql_query` from your terminal. Cline takes the output—whether it's a list of articles or complex user metadata—and automatically stages it into a JSON file you can use in subsequent scripts. This means you don't just get data; you get usable, typed files that fit right into your existing codebase structure.
Listing and Validating Webiny CMS Entries
Before writing any code that touches live content, validate the model first. Use `list_model_entries` to pull all entries for a specific plural model name. Cline takes this list of records and generates a Python script that iterates over them, allowing you to check status codes or filter out stale data before deployment. It’s like having an automated content audit running right in your development environment.
