Connect Webiny CMS MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Webiny CMS to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Managing Content Lifecycle in Code
When writing content management logic, you can't afford to mock data. Use `create_cms_entry` to generate a new draft entry directly from your agent call, supplying the required JSON fields. This means your code works with live context. Need to push that draft out? Call `publish_cms_entry`. It takes the revision ID and makes the content available via 'read' API calls in your application.
Raw API Interaction for Webiny CMS
Don't get stuck on pre-defined functions. You can execute any query or mutation using `execute_graphql_query`. Just specify the required api_type (manage/read/preview) and locale, and the live data comes right into your function. If you need to inspect the system first, run `get_api_introspection` to get the full GraphQL schema. This saves time writing boilerplate code.
Updating or Deleting Content Entries
Mistakes happen. If an entry needs a tweak, use `update_cms_entry`. Pass the entry ID and the JSON object with field updates, and your function handles the revision change instantly. It’s highly specific. Conversely, if you're certain it's junk, call `delete_cms_entry` to permanently wipe out a content revision.
