Get Live Proxy Credentials

When writing networking code, use `list_proxies` to pull a paginated list of all active IPs. The live data includes ports and credentials, letting your agent inject them directly into the function you’re building. You can also call `get_proxy_configuration` to hardcode or reference Webshare's current rotation logic in your setup files.

Manage Proxy Replacements In Code

If a proxy fails during testing, the agent uses `request_proxy_replacement`. It calls this tool and then includes the resulting replacement IP immediately into the code block you're writing. The `get_replacement_quota` checks availability first. This prevents your code from running against an invalid assumption that you have replacements left.

Control Webshare Whitelisting via Code

Need to lock down access for a specific deployment? The agent uses `authorize_new_ip` to whitelist an IP, and later uses `revoke_ip_authorization` if the testing phase is over. It takes the required unique ID. Furthermore, you can use `list_authorized_ips` to verify that the correct IPs are currently whitelisted in your project's environment.

Set up Webshare MCP in Cursor

Prerequisites

  • Cursor installed (macOS, Windows, or Linux)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token

    Open MCP Settings

    Go to Cursor Settings → MCP or open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "MCP: Add Server".

    Add the Webshare MCP

    Cursor will create or open .cursor/mcp.json in your project root. Paste the JSON snippet on the right. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your endpoint token from cloud.vinkius.com.

    Enable Agent mode

    Open Composer (Cmd+I / Ctrl+I) and switch to Agent mode using the dropdown at the top. MCP tools are only available in Agent mode.

    Verify the connection

    Ask Cursor something like "List my recent Webshare transactions." If the MCP tools are loaded correctly, Cursor will call the Webshare tools automatically. You can also check Settings → MCP for a green status indicator.
