Connect Wing Assistant MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wing Assistant to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Developer Helpers via the MCP Server
You can get a list of all available virtual assistants using `list_assistants`. This helps you know which specific helper is best suited for the current component you're building. For deeper context on a particular agent, run `get_assistant` to pull its full set of capabilities and parameters before writing any code.
Create and Modify Coding Tasks with Wing Assistant
Tell Cline what needs doing by calling `create_task`. You just supply a title (like 'Build Dashboard Component') and the detailed description, kicking off the whole process. If you find an error or need to change scope mid-build, use `update_task` to modify the assignment. It keeps your code base clean.
Check Status of Build Jobs with Cline
After you kick off a complex build—say, running tests across three services—you need to know if it passed or failed. Use `get_task_status` to check the current state of that job. Alternatively, if you want a general view of all coding assignments, `list_tasks` gives you a comprehensive overview of everything assigned to your local machine.
