How to Use the Wing Assistant MCP in Google ADK
Manage workflows by delegating tasks to virtual assistants using the Google ADK framework.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Wing Assistant MCP to Google ADK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wing Assistant to Google ADK and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Create and modify unit of work
The `create_task` tool lets your agent spin up a new, defined piece of work. You just pass a title and description, and the assistant gets it in its queue. You can also change things using `update_task`. This function modifies an existing task's details without having to create a whole new record.
Monitor status across all units
Check progress with `get_task_status` or get a full list of assignments using `list_tasks`. This gives you real-time visibility into what's actually happening. You can also see exactly which assistants are active by calling `list_assistants`, keeping tabs on your virtual team.
Handle assistant discovery
The `get_assistant` tool retrieves all the specific details for a single named virtual helper. It pulls up their full profile and current status. For an overview of available resources, use `list_assistants` to see every active helper.
