How to Use the WordPress MCP in Windsurf
Chain complex WordPress tasks without prompting every step using Windsurf.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect WordPress MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect WordPress to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage content across the entire WordPress site.
Need to see what's available? You can list all posts with `list_site_posts` or pull details for one specific item using `get_post_details`. If you want to change something, just hit it with `update_cms_post`; you provide the post ID and a JSON object of fields.
Audit site users and content categories.
Before writing any code, you should know who's on the system. The agent handles calling `list_site_users` to pull every registered WordPress user. It also runs through all defined taxonomy using `list_site_categories`, giving you a full map of site structure.
Create and delete posts from WordPress.
Setting up new content is quick. Use `create_cms_post` to generate a post with a title, content, and initial status like draft or publish. When the content is garbage, you can execute permanent removal using `delete_cms_post(force=true)`.
