Connect WorkOS MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect WorkOS to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Directory Sync Status
Windsurf autonomously figures out your organization's structure. You can start by listing all active sync instances using `list_directories`. Then, Cascade reads the context and executes `get_directory_details` on a specific ID, giving you metadata for that directory. This capability is great for audit chains. If you need to check which groups are synced, Windsurf runs `list_directory_groups`, ensuring your agent knows exactly what data it's working with before proceeding.
Audit Organizational Changes
Need a full picture of organizational setup? First, Cascade retrieves the high-level details using `get_organization_details`. After that, you can check all active SSO connections via `list_sso_connections` to see what's connected. Finally, if you suspect unauthorized changes, Windsurf calls `get_audit_log_events`, providing a stream of activity tracked against the organization record.
List and Verify User Data
Start by getting an inventory of every user. The tool `list_directory_users` pulls all synced users from a directory. If you want to know what groups those users belong to, Windsurf chains the next step: running `list_directory_groups`. This combination lets your agent build a full user profile map. You'll see who is in which group and which organization they fall under.
