Automating Task Management with Cline
You tell Cline to create a new task. The `create_task` tool handles the whole thing—it generates the record in Worktile and assigns it automatically. You don't need any intermediate steps. Need to tweak something? Use `update_task`. It lets you modify existing tasks, changing their status or description based on your prompt. Cline executes this change instantly.
Project and Team Data Access in Cline
Cline can pull project details using `get_project`, giving you the full context of a live initiative. It also lets you list all available projects with `list_projects` if you aren't sure which one to target. If you need personnel info, run `get_team_info`. This data feeds into everything else, letting your agent scope tasks or messages correctly.
Interacting with Worktile via Cline MCP Server
The tool `send_message` lets you push updates to a channel directly from your terminal script. You just specify the channel and the text, and it sends. To scope down your work, run `list_tasks` against a project ID. This gives you a list of task identifiers that Cline can then use for further actions like getting status or updating.
