How to Use the Worktile MCP in Cursor
Write code using live Worktile data right inside Cursor with the MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Worktile MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Worktile to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Injecting Live Project Data in Cursor
Don't write mock endpoints. Use `get_project` to fetch real project details, and inject that response directly into your code block. This lets you test logic against live data right as you type. You can also list all active projects with `list_projects`, getting the necessary context to make sure your functions target the correct ID.
Handling Worktile Tasks in Cursor
Need to write a function that modifies task status? Use `update_task` and pass it real data retrieved from `list_tasks`. The AI generates working code that uses this live API response, not stubs. Better yet, the server allows you to create new tasks using `create_task`, making your application immediately actionable.
Managing Worktile Teams and Communications in Cursor
Writing a multi-user feature? The MCP Server provides tools like `list_members` and `get_team_info`. You can write code that iterates over real user data to build out team logic. For communication features, you can use the `send_message` tool, making your application capable of sending real messages into channels.
