Type-safe Zulip automation using Pydantic AI.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Zulip MCP to Pydantic AI
Create your Vinkius account to connect Zulip to Pydantic AI and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Validate message actions with MCP Server
When you need to send a message, use `zulip_send_message`. The agent validates the required fields—like whether it's stream or direct—against Pydantic models before sending. This prevents runtime errors that would otherwise corrupt your workflow. If the API returns unexpected data format for messaging, the agent fails loudly with a specific validation error instead of silently failing.
Get structured Zulip data
The `zulip_get_stream_topics` tool lists topics in a stream. By defining a Pydantic schema for this output, you guarantee that the agent receives exactly the topic names and counts it expects. This type safety is huge. You know when your model gets data back from the MCP Server, it's clean and ready to use without extra parsing steps.
Check user profiles securely
You can pull a user’s profile using `zulip_get_own_profile`. By enforcing this with Pydantic AI, you ensure that the returned data structure—like the username or ID—always matches your expected model. This makes building reliable agents much simpler. You don't have to write defensive code for every possible API quirk.
