Key Capabilities

Enterprise Web Capture via Google ADK MCP Server

The `quick_snap_with_options` tool provides your Google ADK agents with a direct method to capture precise web screenshots using custom viewport dimensions. You pass the target URL from your enterprise data pipeline, and the agent receives a clean visual state. Gemini's million-token context window allows your agent to analyze these high-resolution images alongside massive datasets retrieved from BigQuery. Because this runs through a managed MCP Server, you don't have to build or maintain a custom rendering infrastructure on Google Cloud.

Managing Layout Configurations at Scale

The `list_screenshot_configs` tool retrieves all your saved screenshot settings directly into your Google ADK runtime environment. This lets your enterprise agent audit existing visual test suites without hardcoding target elements in your Python codebase. When a target website updates its structure, the agent executes `update_screenshot_config` to modify the rendering parameters dynamically. This keeps your automated visual pipelines running smoothly without manual developer intervention.

Dynamic HTML Rendering in Cloud Environments

The `snap_custom_html` tool renders raw code strings into visual assets inside your Google ADK agent workflows. This is ideal for converting dynamic reports generated from your Vertex AI models into shareable PNG or JPEG previews. If a specific layout fails to compile, the agent uses `get_screenshot_config` to verify the rendering parameters before retrying the capture. All operations run within Vinkius's secure sandbox, keeping your internal HTML structures isolated from the public web.

Setup guide

Set up PagePixels MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with PagePixels tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="PagePixels_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to PagePixels tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about PagePixels MCP in Google ADK

You initialize McpToolset with your PagePixels MCP Server endpoint and pass it to your LlmAgent constructor. The Google ADK framework automatically maps tools like `quick_snap` to your Gemini model.
Yes. You can share the PagePixels MCP toolset across multiple specialized Google ADK agents, allowing one to generate configurations with `create_screenshot_config` while another executes the captures.
The managed infrastructure scales automatically to handle concurrent requests. Your agent can dispatch dozens of `quick_snap_with_options` calls simultaneously, bypassing local CPU bottlenecks.
You can use the tool_names filter during McpToolset setup to expose only safe tools like `quick_snap`. This prevents the agent from executing destructive actions like `delete_screenshot_config`.
Every URL queried via `quick_snap` is resolved in an isolated network environment. Your visual outputs and captured screenshots are transmitted via TLS and never persisted on shared storage, ensuring enterprise-grade data isolation.
