Key Capabilities
Execute satellite imagery searches
Cline triggers `quick_search` to pull imagery catalog data based on your specific area of interest. It parses the return values to identify the most relevant scenes for your current task. If you need to narrow down the results, `get_cloud_coverage` provides the exact percentage of clear area. This prevents you from wasting bandwidth on unusable, cloud-covered imagery.
Build automated monitoring pipelines
Use `create_saved_search` to store your specific filter criteria for later use. Cline can then invoke `get_search_results` whenever you need to check for new data updates. This workflow is effective for change detection tasks where you need to compare imagery over time. It keeps your monitoring logic centralized and repeatable.
Retrieve specific imagery assets
Once a scene is identified, use `get_item_assets` to get the necessary URLs for your project. Cline automates the selection of analytic or visual assets based on your requirements. Need to understand your historical coverage? Call `get_search_statistics` to see the availability patterns for your region. It helps in planning long-term data acquisition.
