Key Capabilities
Automate imagery discovery in Windsurf
Cascade uses `quick_search` to find high-resolution PSScene or SkySat data without you leaving the editor. Just define your area, set the date range, and let the agent filter results based on your specific requirements. Once the right scene is identified, use `get_item_details` to verify metadata before proceeding. This allows for rapid assessment of ground conditions directly within your development environment.
Manage recurring data feeds
Set up persistent monitoring for any location using `create_subscription`. Cascade handles the heavy lifting, ensuring that new imagery reaches your designated endpoint as soon as it's available. Need to review your active monitoring? Use `list_subscriptions` to check the status of your feeds. It keeps your pipeline running without manual intervention.
Analyze asset availability
Query specific data products using `list_asset_types` to understand what resolution or analytic bands you can pull. This ensures your code requests the correct imagery for your target analysis. After selecting the product, `get_item_assets` provides the direct download URLs. You get the exact file you need for your GIS scripts or visualization tasks.
