`create_polygon` defines the exact coordinates of your agricultural land right from the chat interface. You feed Claude the boundary points, and the MCP Server registers the area for continuous monitoring. Managing multiple fields takes seconds instead of hours. Use `list_polygons` to pull up every active zone, or drop outdated ones with `delete_polygon` when lease agreements change.

Track historical soil and weather data

`get_historical_soil` grabs past moisture and temperature levels for any registered polygon. Your AI client pulls this data through the MCP protocol to spot long-term trends in field conditions. Combine that with `get_historical_weather` to build a complete picture of past growing seasons. You get hard numbers on past rainfall and heat, letting Claude calculate exact correlations for crop yield analysis.

Monitor crop health via satellite

`search_imagery` locates recent satellite passes over your specific coordinates. The server fetches available visual data so you know exactly when the last clear shot was taken. Once you have the timeframe, `get_ndvi_history` pulls vegetation indices to measure actual plant health. Claude reads these EVI and NDVI values to tell you exactly which parts of the field need fertilizer.

Set up Agro MCP in Claude Web or Desktop

    Click the "+" button and select Add custom connector. Paste your Vinkius endpoint URL: https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. For OAuth-protected servers, expand Advanced settings to add credentials.
