How to Use the Agro MCP in Cursor
Write agriculture analytics scripts in Cursor with real-time farm data using this MCP Server.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Agro MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Agro to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject live soil metrics into Cursor
`get_current_soil` pulls surface temperature and moisture levels directly into your editor context via the MCP protocol. Your agent uses these exact values to write localized irrigation logic instead of relying on dummy JSON files. Real data breaks code in ways stubs never do. Testing your scripts against actual farm conditions ensures your threshold alerts work before you push to production.
Automate satellite imagery retrieval
`search_imagery` queries the latest orbital passes for your target coordinates. The MCP Server feeds the timestamps and cloud cover percentages straight to Cursor while you write the ingestion pipeline. Fetching vegetation health follows the exact same pattern. You call `get_ndvi_history` to grab historical plant vigor stats, letting the editor auto-complete your data visualization scripts with actual EVI parameters.
Manage agricultural zones programmatically
`create_polygon` registers a new geographical boundary for monitoring. Developers building farm management dashboards can let the AI generate the MCP integration code while actually creating test zones in the background. Cleanup happens instantly via `delete_polygon` when you finish testing. You never leave the IDE to manage your test data state.
