Connect Amplenote MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Amplenote to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject project requirements into Cursor with this MCP Server
The `get_note` tool lets Cursor read your Amplenote project files to write context-aware code. This MCP Server lets the editor pull specs directly from your workspace or search your technical docs with `search_notes` to feed raw Markdown into your active coding session. When you ask Cursor to write a new feature, the editor pulls your exact planning notes to ensure the generated code matches your written specifications. No more outdated context or guessed parameters.
Track code tasks inside Cursor
The `list_tasks` tool brings your Amplenote task backlog directly into your Cursor editor. Cursor uses this MCP connection to pull your active backlog and calls `update_task` to mark items complete as you push commits. If a code review reveals a new bug, you can tell Cursor to document it immediately. The editor uses `create_task` to file the bug under the correct project note, keeping your tracker updated in real time.
Document your codebase directly from Cursor
The `create_note` tool lets Cursor write new technical documentation straight to your Amplenote workspace. Cursor calls this tool to build new system guides or uses `update_note` to append fresh API details to your existing files. You can manage your entire documentation structure by calling `list_tags` to organize files or `get_note_actions` to check editing permissions. It turns your workspace into a live extension of your IDE.
