How to Use the Amplenote MCP in Windsurf
Get your Amplenote workspace talking to Windsurf. Cascade manages your tasks and notes without you switching windows.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Amplenote MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Amplenote to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Windsurf manages your Amplenote tasks
Cascade reads your open files and cross-references them with your to-do list. It uses `list_tasks` and `update_task` to keep your project status current while you code. Stop manually updating trackers. The agent pulls your priorities into the IDE, ensuring your implementation matches the requirements defined in your notes.
Search your knowledge base in Windsurf
Use natural language to find specific project requirements hidden in your documentation. `search_notes` lets the agent pull relevant context directly into your current session. Forget digging through folders. When you ask about a feature, the agent grabs the right info using `get_note` and presents the details right where you need them.
Create documentation using this MCP server
Draft meeting summaries or project plans without leaving your IDE. `create_note` generates new markdown files in your workspace whenever you need to capture a design decision. Keep your project history intact. The agent maps out your architecture by creating notes that link directly to your active code blocks.
