Connect Atlassian Crowd MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect Atlassian Crowd to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Inject Real User Data
This tool connects Cursor to your live Atlassian Crowd directory. Ask the agent to fetch a user profile with `get_user_details`, and it will generate code with the actual data structure and content. No more writing stubs or using fake user info. You can also get lists of users, like all active accounts with `list_active_users`, and have Cursor structure that data into an array or list in your current file. It's a huge time-saver when you're building features that depend on user directory information.
Script with Group Data from your MCP Server
Tell Cursor's agent to check group memberships. Use `list_user_memberships` to get all the groups for a specific user, or use `list_group_members` to see everyone in a particular project group. The agent can then use this info to write conditional logic in your code. This means you can prototype access control logic or build admin scripts right in your editor. For instance, ask Cursor to generate a script that fetches all members of the 'admins' group. The MCP server handles the Crowd API calls.
Prototype User Provisioning
This tool lets you provision new Atlassian Crowd users directly from the editor. Ask Cursor's agent to use the `create_new_user` tool with a name, email, and password. It's perfect for quickly setting up test accounts while you're developing. You can even combine tools. Ask the agent to create a user and then immediately check the result with `get_user_details`. The agent understands how to chain these actions, making it easy to script complex setup procedures without leaving your code.
