Connect BugHerd MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect BugHerd to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync Cline code changes with BugHerd tasks
`update_task` is the MCP tool that lets Cline change the priority, description, or status of your BugHerd issues as it completes coding tasks. The agent modifies your files, runs the test suite, and updates the task status in one continuous run. This removes the manual overhead of keeping your project board in sync with your git branch. Your project managers see real-time progress because Cline handles the updates the moment the code passes tests.
Build BugHerd tasks directly from Cline workspace errors
`create_task` allows Cline to generate new issues in your BugHerd project whenever a local build fails or a bug is found. The agent captures the error logs, formats them, and posts them to your board. It queries your active boards with `list_projects` to target the right workspace. You get highly detailed bug reports without writing a single line of markdown.
Fetch BugHerd context to guide Cline code generation
`get_task` retrieves the exact user feedback and technical requirements from a BugHerd issue to guide Cline's coding. The agent reads the ticket description before it touches your source code. It also calls `list_comments` to parse any feedback left by QA testers. This ensures Cline writes the correct fix on the first try, matching the exact expectations of your team.
