Connect BugHerd MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect BugHerd to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Sync BugHerd tasks with VS Code Copilot
The `list_tasks` tool lets your team query active BugHerd issues directly from the VS Code Copilot chat panel. Developers can search for assignments, check priorities, and read bug descriptions without opening a browser. Here's the thing: you can query tasks without leaving your environment. Because this MCP Server configuration can be committed to your repository, every developer gets instant access to the task list automatically.
Log bugs directly from your terminal output
The `create_task` tool enables you to convert terminal errors or user bug reports into official BugHerd tickets. When a local test fails, ask Copilot to log it, and the agent builds the ticket with the exact logs. You can also use `get_organization_info` to make sure the task is routed to the correct department. This keeps your quality assurance process fast and accurate.
Manage project boards across your entire team
The `list_projects` tool allows your VS Code Copilot agent to coordinate tasks across multiple client sites. The agent can fetch project lists, find the right board, and use `list_feedback` to see what clients are reporting. This makes sprint planning easier for technical leads. You can ask Copilot to summarize client feedback and outline the next dev cycle based on real BugHerd data.
