Run Headless Billing Scripts
This MCP Server brings your legal practice into the CLI environment. You can set up a cron job that triggers your agent to run weekly revenue checks. The process executes `list_bills` to grab totals and balances across all active cases. It then formats that data into a raw text report. If a client has an overdue balance, the script can run `get_bill` to pull the specific line items and due dates. You get an exact financial breakdown piped directly to standard output.
Log Time Entries via Terminal
Developers hate switching tabs to log hours. Now you just drop a quick command in your terminal telling your agent to record your work. It fires `search_matters` to find the correct case ID based on your keyword. Once it has the reference, it executes `create_activity`. It formats the date as YYYY-MM-DD, converts your hours to seconds, and logs the TimeEntry. Your billing stays accurate while you stay in your SSH session.
Audit Firm Users with Claude Code
Managing access across a large practice requires constant oversight. You can instruct your agent to audit workload distribution across the team. It calls `list_users` to pull the active roster of attorneys and staff. Next, it runs `list_tasks` to see exactly who owns which court deadlines. The agent compiles a shell script that highlights overdue items and assigns them to available team members.
