Connect Clio MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Clio to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Legal Dashboards with Cline
This MCP connection lets your agent pull live practice data straight into your codebase. You tell Cline to build a revenue monitoring component for the firm intranet. It writes the React code and immediately fetches real data using `list_bills` to populate the view. The agent handles the entire execution loop. It pulls outstanding receivables, formats the currency, and writes the unit tests. You see the working diff populated with real invoice details before you even touch the keyboard.
Sync Case Details Automatically
Keeping internal systems updated takes too much time. You can instruct your agent to sync a local database with your active legal files. Cline triggers `list_matters` to grab case numbers, descriptions, and current statuses. If it spots a missing client, it runs `create_contact` to push the new first and last name into the system. It writes the migration scripts, tests the API calls, and commits the changes.
Parse Firm Communications via MCP Server
Sorting through case emails is tedious work. Your agent can read through a client's history by calling `list_communications` to pull subjects, bodies, and dates linked to a specific matter. You can ask it to extract key decisions from those threads. Cline then uses `create_note` to document the strategy findings and attaches them back to the matter file. The entire knowledge transfer happens autonomously.
