Connect DigitalOcean MCP to VS Code Copilot
Create your Vinkius account to connect DigitalOcean to VS Code Copilot and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Track virtual machines in VS Code Copilot
VS Code Copilot uses `list_compute_droplets` to pull your entire DigitalOcean droplet inventory directly into your shared workspace chat. When a developer needs to debug a specific machine, the agent executes `get_droplet_details` to verify memory, CPU, and region. VS Code Copilot displays this real-time DigitalOcean data directly in the sidebar, keeping your team aligned.
Verify database configurations inside VS Code Copilot
VS Code Copilot helps teams write database migrations by calling `list_managed_databases` to inspect your active DigitalOcean database states. If you need to verify storage capacities, the agent runs `list_block_storage_volumes` to pull DigitalOcean volume metadata. This prevents developers from committing code to VS Code that references nonexistent or incorrectly sized block storage units.
Manage networks and projects with this MCP Server
This MCP Server executes `list_cloud_projects` to bring project-level DigitalOcean visibility straight to your team's development environment. For network security checks, the agent queries `list_cloud_firewalls` and `list_dns_domains` to audit active ingress rules and domain mappings. It lets your team catch open DigitalOcean ports right from the VS Code Copilot chat window.
