Manage Your Entire Event Portfolio

Use a Gemini-powered agent to get a handle on all your events. It can `list_virtual_events` to get a complete overview, then drill down into a specific conference with `get_event_details`. All this happens inside your own Google Cloud project. Gemini's long-context window changes the game. Your agent can hold your entire event history in its context, find patterns in past attendance, and use that insight to decide how to `create_new_event` or `update_event_settings` for the next one.

Connect Event Data Directly to BigQuery

This is the main event. An ADK agent can be configured to periodically call `get_event_usage_analytics` and `list_event_attendees`. It can then use native Google tools to format that data and write it directly into a BigQuery table, no manual export/import required. Once the data is there, you can build Looker dashboards that join attendee data from Eventmix with customer data from your CRM. Your agent, using this MCP server, acts as the bridge. It connects your live event operations to your central data warehouse.

Build Focused Agents with Tool Filtering

You don't have to give every agent the keys to the kingdom. You can create a specialized 'Registration Bot' that only has access to `submit_event_rsvp` and `send_registration_code`. Another 'Analytics Bot' might only have permission to use `get_event_usage_analytics`. The Google ADK makes this easy. The `McpToolset` constructor accepts a `tool_names` filter. This lets you define exactly which Eventmix functions each agent can see, letting you build secure, single-purpose agents that can't go off-script.

Setup guide

Set up Eventmix MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Eventmix tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="Eventmix_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to Eventmix tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Common questions about Eventmix MCP in Google ADK

You wrap the server URL in an `McpToolset` and pass it to your `LlmAgent`'s list of tools. Google ADK treats the Eventmix tools just like any other native Google Cloud function, making them available to your Gemini model.
Yes, that's the whole point. You can pass the Eventmix `McpToolset` and a BigQuery toolset to the same agent. The agent can then `list_event_attendees` from Eventmix and immediately run a query on that data in BigQuery.
Yes. When you configure the `McpToolset`, use the `StreamableHttpServerParameters`. This tells the agent to process data from tools like `list_virtual_events` as it arrives, instead of waiting for the full response to download.
Your Vinkius endpoint token is the key. Store it in Google Secret Manager, then have your agent fetch the key at runtime to configure the `McpToolset`. This is standard practice and avoids exposing credentials in your source code.
The server handles event details like titles, schedules, and attendee lists required by functions like `list_event_attendees`. Your data is sent encrypted over HTTPS to a sandboxed Vinkius environment where it is processed in memory and never written to disk.
