Build HR tools using live Gusto data inside Cline
Cline builds functional code by grabbing live data first. It calls `list_employees` to pull your actual roster, then writes React components to display team directories right inside your workspace. The agent verifies its own work by fetching specific records with `get_employee` to ensure the UI handles actual data structures. You get a production-ready dashboard without copying and pasting API payloads.
This MCP Server automates payroll reconciliation
Reconciling contractor payments and salaries is slow. Cline speeds this up by calling `list_payrolls` and `get_payroll` to pull the exact financial numbers for any given period. It writes a local script to compare these figures against your accounting ledger, flagging discrepancies automatically. You avoid manual data entry and catch tax issues before they happen.
Verify benefit compliance across departments
Stop manually checking which departments are enrolled in health plans. Cline uses `list_departments` to structure your organization, then queries `list_benefits` to see active packages. The agent writes an automated test suite that flags any department with low enrollment. This keeps your HR compliance checks running on every local build.
