Chain payroll audits inside Windsurf
Cascade handles multi-step HR checks without you babysitting the prompt. It starts by pulling your active pay cycles using `list_payrolls` and immediately grabs the details of a specific run with `get_payroll` to spot discrepancies. Instead of asking you what to do next, the agent cross-references these figures against department allocations using `list_departments`. You get a completed financial review in a single turn.
Windsurf maps team locations and benefits
Tracking where people work gets messy when teams scale. Windsurf uses `list_locations` to map offices, then grabs employee records via `list_employees` to confirm everyone is assigned to the correct state for tax purposes. The agent then pulls `list_benefits` to audit enrollment status across these offices. It executes this entire discovery sequence in one go, saving you from manual lookup loops.
Audit time-off policies without manual queries
Let Cascade handle the tedious work of checking leave balances. This Gusto MCP Server lets the agent call `list_time_off_policies` and match those rules against individual records from `get_employee`. Getting a clean breakdown of policy compliance no longer requires writing custom code. You specify the department you want to check, and the agent automatically filters the list using `list_departments`.
