How to Use the Hiver MCP in Cline
Let Cline manage Hiver for you. It will build components, run reports, and handle tickets right from your VS Code terminal.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Hiver MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Hiver to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build UIs with Live Hiver Data
Go beyond just fetching data. Tell Cline, "Build a React component that displays all unassigned tickets from the support inbox." Cline plans the task, uses `list_inbox_conversations` to get the data, and then writes the actual component code for you. It creates the file, imports dependencies, and hands you a working `*.tsx` file.
Automate Repetitive Ticket Management with Cline
Stop wasting time on cleanup. You can give Cline a goal like, "Archive all resolved conversations older than 90 days." Your agent will use `list_inbox_conversations` to find the relevant threads, then loop through each one and call `update_thread_status` to change its status to 'closed'. This is what having an MCP server connected to your agent is for.
Manage Your Team Inside the IDE
Need to see who has access to which inbox? Don't open your browser. Just ask Cline directly. It uses `list_shared_inboxes` to get a list of all inboxes, then calls `list_inbox_members` for each one to get the team roster. You get a clean, organized list without ever leaving VS Code.
