Build Live Dashboards in VS Code with Cline
The `get_kolide_fleet_stats` tool provides instant metrics on your organization's total devices, online status, and open issue counts. Cline uses this data to build and update compliance dashboards directly in your workspace. You tell Cline what kind of layout you want, and it writes the frontend code, hooks up the API calls, and tests the integration. It turns raw fleet metrics into visual tools without you writing a line of boilerplate.
Automate Issue Resolution Guides
The `get_issue_details` tool retrieves the exact reasons why a specific device failed its compliance checks. Cline reads these details and automatically generates customized markdown guides for your IT support desk. There's no reason to copy and paste error codes when you can let your agent build the docs. It speeds up helpdesk responses and ensures users get accurate instructions.
Inspect Device Configurations Directly
The `get_device_details` tool pulls deep hardware and software configuration data for any machine in your fleet. Cline analyzes this raw JSON payload to identify unpatched software or missing security agents. This MCP server makes security audits incredibly fast. Cline handles the data parsing, highlights the risks, and suggests the exact configuration changes needed to secure the endpoint.
