…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect NPM Registry MCP to Cursor
Create your Vinkius account to connect NPM Registry to Cursor and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Verify dependency metadata as you write code in Cursor
The `get_package` tool retrieves full package manifests, including dependencies and version lists. Your Cursor agent uses this to write import statements that match valid releases. No more guessing whether a package supports your current runtime. The MCP Server lets your agent check the metadata and write working code on the first try.
Pin exact versions with this MCP Server
The `get_package_version` tool queries the exact integrity hash and tarball URL for a specific release. This lets your Cursor agent verify that your lockfile matches the registry state. You can ask the agent to write configuration files using the exact version data it pulls. It eliminates the trial-and-error loop of manual package installation.
Discover libraries without leaving your editor
The `search_packages` tool filters the registry using specific qualifiers like maintainers or keywords. Your agent can suggest alternatives to bloated packages directly in the Cursor sidebar. This makes refactoring faster. You get a list of active, maintained packages that solve your specific problem right when you need them.
