Multimodal trip planning

Need to get from point A to B using multiple modes of transport? Call `plan_trip`. It combines bus, train, subway, tram, and walking into step-by-step instructions. The response gives you options, total duration, number of transfers, and the exact departure/arrival times for each leg. Use this when you need to plan a trip between two coordinates or specify preferred travel modes like cycling.

Real-time vehicle tracking

Track vehicles on the move using `get_vehicle_positions`. You can filter results by route ID to see exactly where buses and trains are right now. If you just need to know when your next ride is coming, check upcoming arrivals with `get_arrivals` or departures with `get_departures`.

Finding transit stops

`search_stops` handles finding a stop by name or intersection—you don't need exact coordinates for that. If you have a GPS location but aren't sure what's around, `get_nearby_stops` returns IDs, names, and the distance to the nearest transit options. You can then check facilities using `get_stop_details`.
