Connect Twilio MCP to Windsurf
Create your Vinkius account to connect Twilio to Windsurf and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage Outbound Voice Calls
Need to initiate a call? Start with `create_voice_call`. You just provide the caller ID, the receiver number, and the TwiML URL. Cascade handles the rest, spinning up an outbound voice connection. It's perfect for goal-oriented tasks like 'notify the user about the delay.' Windsurf executes the call sequence autonomously without you having to prompt each step.
Handle SMS Messaging
You can manage text messages directly. Use `send_sms` when your goal requires notifying a client; just supply the sender and target E.164 numbers. You also have `delete_message`, which permanently removes an SMS record—be sure you know this action is irreversible. Cascade handles multi-step messaging goals, letting you draft a sequence of alerts or confirmations in one go.
Retrieve Usage Data
Getting account status shouldn't require seven different API calls. Call `get_usage_records` to pull billing stats and usage data immediately. You can also list current operational details by checking all call queues with `list_call_queues` or listing recent activity via `list_calls`. Windsurf uses these tools together: 'Check our spending vs. last month' triggers a single, comprehensive action that pulls the necessary billing and usage data.'
