Connect Wati MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wati to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Build Messaging APIs into Code
The `send_template_message` tool lets you write a function that sends pre-approved WhatsApp messages to a target number. You can wrap this in a script, making it part of your build process rather than just running it manually. It's also great for handling live replies; using `send_session_message` means you can write components that respond directly to free text input from the user.
Audit and Manage WhatsApp Data Sets
Use the `list_whatsapp_templates` tool inside your script. This lets Cline check if a specific template name exists before trying to send it, which saves you from runtime errors when deploying code. You can also run `list_whatsapp_contacts` to pull all contact records into a data structure, letting your program process the entire list at once.
Fetch and Analyze Contact Information
When you need user context, the `get_whatsapp_contact_details` tool pulls profile information for any given phone number. You can then use that data in your code—maybe to populate a dashboard component with contact names. For historical review, running `get_whatsapp_chat_history` gives you every recent message exchanged, letting you write scripts that analyze conversation flow or detect key phrases.
