How to Use the Wati MCP in Google ADK
Run Wati operations in BigQuery with Google ADK.
Works with every AI agent you already use
…and any MCP-compatible client
Connect Wati MCP to Google ADK
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wati to Google ADK and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Send dynamic WhatsApp templates
The `send_template_message` tool lets your agent send templated messages, requiring both the template name and a target phone number. This is perfect for automated follow-ups. Your agent can use this to trigger complex communication flows that rely on structured data from Google Cloud.
Get full WhatsApp chat history
When you have a contact’s phone number, the `get_whatsapp_chat_history` tool retrieves the entire recent message thread. This gives your agent deep conversational context. It's better than just seeing the last few messages; it shows the flow of conversation over time.
Check Wati contact profiles
The `get_whatsapp_contact_details` tool pulls comprehensive profile information for any given WhatsApp number. Your agent acts on this data like a first-class citizen. This ensures your business logic knows exactly who it's talking to before making an API call.
