Connect Wistia MCP to Cline
Create your Vinkius account to connect Wistia to Cline and route execution through our secure gateway. The platform manages server hosting, runtime updates, and security layers. Configuration requires no manual server provisioning.
Manage and organize projects
Need to scaffold a new campaign folder? Use `create_new_project` to set up the dedicated project structure. You can list all existing containers with `list_wistia_projects`, which shows every Wistia project you've created. If a whole section of content is deprecated, running `delete_wistia_project` cleans it out completely. Be warned: this action deletes the entire folder and everything within it.
Process media data programmatically
Get specific asset details using `get_media_details`, passing in a hashed ID to pull its metadata. You can also use `list_wistia_medias` to get an array of all available assets, letting you iterate through them with code. For project-level data, call `get_project_details`. This function returns the full context—the folder details plus every media asset contained within it.
Ingest and analyze content metrics
You can automate video ingestion by calling `upload_video_via_url`, passing a source URL, target project ID, and name. This makes it easy to pipeline external videos into your Wistia workflow. After the upload, fetch performance data using `get_engagement_statistics`. The tool delivers detailed viewer metrics that you can then write to a database or use in a dashboard.
