Key Capabilities

Cline executes parsing tasks end-to-end

Cline can scan your directories for invoices and push them to `extract_data_from_file_async`. It waits for the job to finish and handles the result automatically. This removes the need for you to manually upload files. Cline does the work and presents the data for your review.

Manage document templates via Cline

You can inspect your existing parsing logic by calling `list_mailbox_templates` inside your VS Code window. It helps you see which fields are mapped for specific documents. Use `get_template_details` if you need to know exactly how a template handles a specific field. It saves you from digging through web dashboards.

Sync email data to your project

Cline can fetch recent parsing history using `list_parsed_data_history`. It then processes that list to update your local databases or JSON files. It makes the entire data pipeline visible. You see the extraction happen in real-time as Cline calls the relevant tools.

Common questions about Parsio MCP in Cline

Open your Cline MCP settings and add the Parsio server URL. Once connected, Cline will automatically discover all 12 tools available in this MCP Server.
Absolutely. Cline uses `extract_data_from_text_sync` to take raw text from your clipboard or files and turn it into structured data immediately.
If the extraction fails, `get_parsed_document_result` will return the error status. Cline then reports this to you so you can adjust your template or file format.
No. Parsio manages the email connection and the server only accesses the data you specifically route through the parsing tools.
Your extracted data stays within the Parsio pipeline and your local environment. The MCP Server uses encrypted transmission for every request to ensure your PII remains private.
