Key Capabilities

Parse documents into Gemini long-context windows

Let your Gemini agent process massive document batches by calling `extract_data_from_text_sync` directly inside your Google ADK pipeline. This converts raw, messy email text or HTML into clean key-value pairs using this MCP Server. If you are dealing with bulk document processing, point is, have your agent run `extract_data_from_text_async`. Your agent can continue executing cloud tasks and retrieve the structured output later with `get_parsed_document_result`.

Route enterprise documents with this MCP Server

Keep your Google Cloud workflows organized by allowing your agent to call `list_mailboxes` to identify where documents should go. The agent can dynamically create new entry points using `create_mailbox` whenever a new enterprise client onboarding flow is triggered. To verify which templates are active for a specific client, the agent calls `list_mailbox_templates`. This ensures your pipeline uses the correct parsing rules before sending extracted data downstream to BigQuery.

Track document extraction history in Google ADK

Audit your data pipeline by letting your agent call `list_parsed_data_history` to pull historical extractions. This lets you compare parsed output against your BigQuery records to ensure consistency across your cloud database. You can also call `list_mailbox_webhooks` to inspect where parsed payloads are being routed. It helps your agent confirm that real-time event triggers are correctly pointing to your Google Cloud Functions.

Setup guide

Set up Parsio MCP in Google ADK

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • google-adk package (pip install google-adk)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install Google ADK

    Run pip install google-adk to install the Agent Development Kit. MCP support is included via the McpToolset class.

  2. 2

    Connect via SSE transport

    Use McpToolset.from_server() with SseServerParams pointing to your Vinkius endpoint. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com.

  3. 3

    Create an LlmAgent

    Pass the returned mcp_tools list directly to LlmAgent(tools=mcp_tools). The ADK maps each MCP tool to a native Gemini function call — no manual schema definitions required.

  4. 4

    Run with any Gemini model

    The agent works with any Gemini model (gemini-2.0-flash, gemini-2.5-pro, etc.). Copy the full example on the right to get started with Parsio tools in your ADK agent.

agent.py
from google.adk.agents import LlmAgent
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_toolset import McpToolset
from google.adk.tools.mcp_tool.mcp_session_manager import SseServerParams

# Connect to the MCP via SSE
mcp_tools, exit_stack = await McpToolset.from_server(
    connection_params=SseServerParams(
        url="https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    )
)

# Create your agent with auto-discovered tools
agent = LlmAgent(
    name="Parsio_agent",
    model="gemini-2.0-flash",
    instruction="You have access to Parsio tools via MCP.",
    tools=mcp_tools,
)

Have your agent invoke `extract_data_from_file_sync` to immediately parse incoming PDFs and return structured JSON to your active Gemini session.
Yes, you can use the optional `tool_names` filter in your `McpToolset` configuration to expose only specific tools like `extract_data_from_text_sync`.
Yes, Vinkius operates a zero-trust, ephemeral sandbox environment for your MCP Server. Your raw email text and PDFs are processed on the fly, and credentials are encrypted using isolated environment tokens.
