Key Capabilities

Coordinate specialized extraction crews

Assign a dedicated agent to monitor your mailboxes using `list_mailboxes`. A second agent can then trigger `extract_data_from_text_async` based on the document type. It allows for true division of labor. Your agents collaborate to handle different document formats without human intervention.

Manage webhooks for autonomous updates

Use `list_mailbox_webhooks` to keep your agents informed about new document arrivals. Your crew reacts instantly when a new file hits the system. It turns your document processing into a reactive system. Your agents stay idle until there is work to do, saving compute resources.

Deep dive into template metadata

Allow your research agents to check `get_template_details` before starting a task. They adapt their strategy based on the specific requirements of each template. It ensures your crew uses the right approach for every document. You get higher accuracy by letting agents understand the context of their tools.

Setup guide

Set up Parsio MCP in CrewAI

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.10+ installed
  • crewai package (pip install crewai)
  • Active Vinkius subscription with a valid endpoint token
  1. 1

    Install CrewAI

    Run pip install crewai to install the framework. MCP support is built-in via the mcps parameter.

  2. 2

    Add the MCP URL to your agent

    Pass your Vinkius endpoint directly to the mcps list. Replace [YOUR_TOKEN_HERE] with your token from cloud.vinkius.com. CrewAI handles tool discovery and caching automatically.

  3. 3

    Kick off your crew

    Create a Crew with your agent and tasks. Call crew.kickoff() — the agent will automatically invoke Parsio tools as needed.

crew.py
from crewai import Agent, Task, Crew

agent = Agent(
    role="Parsio Analyst",
    goal="Access and analyze Parsio data via MCP.",
    backstory="Expert analyst with direct Parsio access.",
    mcps=[
        "https://edge.vinkius.com/[YOUR_TOKEN_HERE]/mcp"
    ],
)

task = Task(
    description="List recent Parsio transactions",
    agent=agent,
    expected_output="A summary of recent activity",
)

crew = Crew(agents=[agent], tasks=[task])
result = crew.kickoff()
print(result)

Common questions about Parsio MCP in CrewAI

Add the Parsio MCP URL to your agent configuration. The agents will automatically discover the tools and be ready to use them in their tasks.
Yes, CrewAI agents have shared memory. Once one agent extracts data, the next agent in your crew can use that information for its own steps.
Use the tool_filter option in your MCP configuration. This allows you to restrict which agents have access to specific Parsio tools like mailbox creation.
It is. You can assign the Parsio tools to a specific agent in your hierarchy and let the manager agent delegate the parsing tasks to it.
Parsio isolates your document content and only provides the extracted fields to your crew. Security is maintained through encrypted connections between the server and your agents.
